Since graduating from QUT with a BFA (Dance) Elise has performed in numerous projects including Accented Body2006, Mariana Verdaasdonk’s PhD research project The Living Lens and Callesthesia, a work for Collusion Music Ensemble’s Evocations season at the Brisbane Powerhouse. In 2006 Elise was recipient of the Australia Council ‘Take Your Partner’ initiative for the creative development of a solo performance installation work entitled Dare You Look. Elise has worked as a performer, teacher & choreographer with Expressions’ Dance in Education Program, at QUT, with Clare Dyson, Chrissie Parrot, Cheryl Stock, Andrew Corey, Mariana Verdaasdonk, Wendy Morrow and Bonemap. This year, Elise was commissioned to choreograph a new work, End Up, for Expressions ‘Core Borders’ program and joined the company as a dancer in April 2008. Elise also performed in Maggi Sietsma's On Thin Ice and travelled with the company on its 2008 China tour. Elise will be embarking on the 2008 Queensland Tour performing On Thin Ice and will perform with the company in the New York performance of Maggi Sietsma's Score! in January 2009.
