Riannon McLean

Riannon graduated from the New Zealand School of Dance in 2000, and in 2001 joined the Merenia Gray Dance Company. She then performed throughout Queensland with Dance North in 2002-2003. Riannon travelled to the U.K. in 2004, dancing at the Royal Opera House in Covent Garden and choreographed a work for the Resolution! season in London. In 2005-2006, Riannon performed with Australian Dance Theatre in Adelaide with choreographer Garry Stewart, and toured France, Spain, Austria, Japan and the Netherlands in Age of Unbeauty and Held, alongside American dance photographer Lois Greenfeld. Riannon has choreographed works for The Place in London, Dance North - Extensions Youth Company in Townsville and in Brisbane. Riannon joined Expressions in 2007 and toured the U.S.A. performing in Virtually Richard3 and Score! In 2008, Riannon performed in Maggi Sietsma's On Thin Ice and travelled with the company on its 2008 China tour. Riannon will be embarking on the 2008 Queensland Tour performing On Thin Ice and will also perform with the company in the New York performance of Maggi Sietsma's Score! in January 2009.
