Richard Causer  
Dancer

Richard graduated from QUT with an Associate Degree (Dance) and a BFA (Dance).  During his studies, Richard  participated in an exchange project between QUT and the Taipei National University of the Arts, Taiwan. Richard’s work Delirium, toured Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and Brisbane Powerhouse. In 2005, Richard performed for two years with Expressions Dance-in-education team, and in 2006, performed and was a featured choreographer in Cheryl Stock’s Accented Bodies.  Richard joined Expressions main company in 2007 performing in the company’s Brisbane Season and Queensland Tour of Memory: A Double Bill. In 2008, Richard performed the principal role of 'the voyager' in Maggi Sietsma's On Thin Ice. He also travelled with the company on its 2008 China tour, performing at the Guongdong Modern Dance Festival. Richard will be embarking on a Queensland Tour performing On Thin Ice in October and November. He will also perform with the company in the New York performance of Maggi Sietsma's Score! in January 2009.
