Ryan Males  
Dancer

Ryan trained at Adelaide University before receiving a scholarship to the McDonald College in Sydney. His extensive career in dance has included performances with Opera Australia, South Australian Opera and Opera Queensland, and worked as the Assistant Director on Opera Australia’s Gondoliers. Ryan has also danced with One Extra Dance Company, TasDance and on numerous projects with choreographers including Garry Stewart, Lucy Guerin, Kim Walker and Graeme Murphy. His career highlight for 2000 was performing with Nicole Kidman in the feature film Moulin Rouge. In 2001, Ryan joined Expressions and toured throughout Australia with Vanities Crossing. Since then he has toured internationally with Expressions to Singapore, China, Germany, Mexico, New Caledonia, Macau and the U.S.A. In 2008, Ryan performed in the world premiere of Maggi Sietsma's On Thin Ice and travelled with the company on its 2008 China tour. Ryan will be embarking on the 2008 Queensland Tour of On Thin Ice and will also perform with the company in the New York performance of Maggi Sietsma's Score! in January 2009.
