Terri-Lee Milne After graduating from the Australian Ballet School,Terri-Lee joined The Queensland Ballet Company where she danced many principal roles including - Giselle, (Romeo and) Juliet, Carmen and The Sleeping Beauty. Awarded the Charles Lisner Achievement Award in 1991, Terri-Lee travelled to Denmark to study at the world renowned Royal Danish Ballet. In 1992, she received the prestigious Marten Bequest Travelling Scholarship along with a full scholarship from The Royal Danish Ballet, enabling her to return to Denmark and further broaden her knowledge in the "Bournonville technique".
In 1998, Terri-Lee was invited to join Expressions Dance Company where she performed extensively throughout Australia and around the world including New York, Tokyo, Beijing, Singapore, Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Terri-Lee left the company in 2002 to start a family and returned to the company in 2008 for the world premiere of Maggi Sietsma's On Thin Ice. Terri-Lee travelled with the company on its 2008 China tour and will be embarking on the 2008 Queensland Tour of On Thin Ice. Terri-Lee will also perform with the company in the New York performance of Maggi Sietsma's Score! in January 2009.
