Expressions Dance Company contemporary dance classes are for people wanting to get fit, stay in training, improve flexibility or just unwind and have fun! Contemporary dance borrows from jazz, ballet, funk/hip-hop and many modern dance styles encouraging natural, spontaneous movement. Classes start with a comprehensive warm-up and gradually build up to more involved dance sequences that focus on the body’s alignment, breath, use of weight and awareness of space and time.


Classes are suitable for adults of all ages from beginners to professionals (unsuitable for people under 15 years). Classes are casual so you do not have to sign up for a term, just pay as you go. Bring a friend, its great fun!

Cash Payment Only.

You are welcome to join into class at any stage in the year. There is no set minimum classes or booking required.
Just turn up on the evening you wish to attend and give it a go!
Classes run throughout the year excluding Public Holidays, and do run in school holidays.
