Expressions
Dance Company has a strong commitment to education, providing programs
for students in schools, universities and the general community.
These education programs are offered not only in Brisbane and surrounding
areas, but also in the regional centres visited by Expressions every
year. Our programs help students and young people to develop an
understanding and appreciation of dance, and encourage learners
of all ages and experiences to participate in dance activities.
The Company forges a strong link between its dancers and their audiences
by running performances in schools, schools matinees and post show
discussions, workshops, classes and residencies. Expressions fosters
a greater awareness of dance, encouraging cultural growth and skill
developement with young people throughout Queensland and Australia.
