New Look Website

Expressions Dance Company has launched its new website with a new look and a great new format! You can jump online to check out the company’s upcoming shows and events, and watch video shorts of the company’s work.

The revamped website has a great education section for schools, which teachers and students will find to be a very useful resource.

It also includes a new section with the Company’s latest news and media releases. So you can find out what’s happening at Expressions all year round! We have created a new Links page with links to other dance companies and Expressions’ partners. The website is full of fantastic new pictures and information.

Queensland Tour

Hot on the heels of the tour to the United States, Queensland Arts Council’s Ontour onstage and Expressions Dance Company will present Virtually Richard3 to Queensland audiences in May.

Virtually Richard3 is high-octane dance at its best. Choreographed by Maggi Sietsma, Virtually Richard3 is inspired by one of Shakespeare’s most powerful works, Richard III.

Virtually Richard3 is a treat for those who like their dance theatre fast and physical. Starring Dan Crestani, a finalist in the 2002 and 2003 Australian Dance Awards for best male dancer, the excitement and raw energy of this production will have you gripping the sides of your seat.

While on tour, Expressions will once again conduct free workshops with school and community groups who attend the show. Expressions would like to thank Macarthur Coal whose generous support enables the Company to provide workshops to centres across Queensland. This support will help Expressions conduct over 100 workshops in Queensland this year in Mackay, Nambour, Maryborough, the Gold Coast and Brisbane.
