Queensland Tour 2008 On Thin Ice Breaks Box Office Record! Expressions have smashed touring box office records on the 2008 regional Queensland Tour of Maggi Sietsma’s On Thin Ice, to Toowoomba, Maryborough, Gladstone, Rockhampton, Caloundra and the Gold Coast. Paying audiences increased by 29% on this tour, which was co-presented with Queensland Arts Council. In addition, over 1000 young people participated in 60 workshops offered by the company across the state. “Excellent…really great to have such a professional production  New Year... New York... Score! In January 2009, Expressions returns to the US to perform Maggi Sietsma’s Score! at the Brooklyn Center for the Performing Arts in New York. This acclaimed work by Maggi Sietsma, is Expressions’ take on a behind the scenes look at the world of reality TV, taking its inspiration from Michel Fokine’s ballet Petrushka and today’s reality TV shows. The fairground puppeteer is transformed into a slick TV host with his dancing puppets now contestants in a glitzy reality TV competition. The ultimate prize is a partner for life, the ballerina!
